What would be classed as a reasonable timescale for a bodywork repair (rust) to last?

Most bodywork repairs carried out by a good quality repairer are typically guarenteed for 2 years these day, in terms of repair quality/defects etc.

Or rather I will rephrase. The bodywork repairs I have had carried out on various cars have come with this kind of 2 year guarentee, and none of them have shown any defects within or even exceeding the period of guarentee.

Wink

Cheers David

This repair was done approx October last year, by a main dealer, costing in the region of £800 and I noticed last weekend that it was coming through already.
