As the proud owner of my first scoob, a new MY03 WRX i was wondering on the opinions of certain upgrades that other people have used.....and also what exactly their effects are...as you may have guessed ive never done any sort of modification before baring in mind it was hardly worth it or a s**tbox rover 214!!
I was wondering what the effects off changing the air filter (k&n or whatever) is and also if getting the WR sports exhaust fitted actually would be....in terms of power and power delivery....
also if there are any other suggestions for cheap(ish) tweaks....
Sorry if this is a bit simple for you pro's out there!!
Cheers,
Neil

Neilo ,,,,
Im sure everyone on here will say the same thing but.
The only performance upgrade you can do and retain your 3 year waranty is PPP (prodrive performance pack). This is available through your UK dealer for £1500 on a WRX I think. It must be a UK supplied car though before they will fit it. It does give you performance a kin to a standard STI though so quite a power hike.
If you have an import the supplying dealer may make a few sensible mods for you, exhaust filter etc and retain your waranty but its pretty doubtfull.
Hope this helps
