No problem, Windows. Do you need a flexi up-pipe?

I didn't mean that the up-pipe was $15. I meant that it's $15 more than the solid version. From the differences in prices between no/solid/flexi up-pipe prices, the solid unit costs us $85 and the flexi unit costs $100.

If I were to hazard a guess as to "final" prices, I'd say Tony's about right: circa £360. I'll only know for sure when I've paid the import duty and VAT.

Hi All,

Just to try and help everyone that's showing interest in the headers.

A second group buy is going to be taking place as soon as Gruppe S get more stock in.
The first group buy is FULL. We have 10 sets of headers put aside and we have 10 confirmed buyers.
If we need someone for the first group buy we will be in touch, but can I sugest all parties that are not in the first group buy register their interest on this thread for the second group buy.

Think it's getting a bit confusing in the other thread now!!

Cheers Fatman, take it from here!!

Hope this helps

Based on the last set it would be about £340 all in.

If we can place a larger order we will gain a further (small) discount. We don't know exactly how much that will be, but it will depend on the volume I imagine.

I've written back to Max to ask whether there are different versions of the manifold for different Imprezas. I've also asked whether they have any experience of using exhaust wrap on their headers. I asked that since there was some concern (on the other thread) that wrapping may not be appropriate. However, we have anecdotal comment from stevebt ...

i never wrapped mine but i wish i had as when they went on the where near one on the wiring harnesses and they started to melt it
There's an 8-hour time difference, so I wouldn't expect a response to that email until late this afternoon or this evening. I'll keep you posted.

Main thing I need is to clear up any confusion about re-maps. Any advice?
Especially if i have to uprate the fuel pump etc at the same time!
Cheers lads.

@ Twigster - you're best to contact a tuning outfit directly and ask. My bet is that they will recommend...

- uprated fuel pump
- uprated fuel pressure regulator
- custom remap

I hope these do fit on MY96 because that is what I have. I'm sure I read on the other that it would fit all classic impreza! Unless of course I dreamt it

That's my understanding as well. I've mailed Max to ask exactly that question. Hopefully he'll reply some time this evening.

Hi folks. I did register an interest on the first thread but was too vague and slow!!

I would like one of these things too please. Get me on the list.

Sorry though, I can't get on the net every day so I may be a little tardy responding. Just been on the other thread and it was 9 pages long, just spent an age reading it..

Cheers for now and good work, what a cracking price.

Rich

@ Houghton: I'm awaiting confirmation from the supplier that the headers will fit your age of car. My understanding (at this stage) is that they're appropriate for all 'classic' Imprezas - but I'll let you know once that's confirmed.

Don't know mate. I do need some myself, but was keeping an eye out for a separate g/b thread for the wrap. I don't think there has been one.

Is Wuz a supplier?

Regarding the wrap.... i think that the Rally Design stuff looks better quality than the Cooltek stuff. IMHO. Think it's about the same price too.
