Wink

After too many years in company cars while my wife drives girly new beetles and TTs I now work for myself.

Tomorrow at 4pm I collect my 2001 WRX,

Any advice on how I should really enjoy myself, I am thinking of recording the noise of the drive home and playing it back in bed to help me off to sleep!!!

Cool

Find a dry straight bit of road:

Safely come to a stop, select 1st gear, clutch in, 3-4 krpm, gently slip the clutch and promptly release it - change to 2nd before the rev limiter comes into play

Repeat as many times you like

Thumbs up

That sounds most excellent,

I was nearly overcome with excitement on test drive, this is what happens when you have been subjected to a golf TDI followed by passat TDI,

The wait is too much, just 16 hours and 22 minutes to go.

Very good job those boring cars have left me with a clean licence.

There doesnt seem to be a need for a cd/radio, the flat four sound is enough,

Am I right?

Earth to Balatacarter, it's Scooby (as in Doo), not Scobby (as in Dobby the Elf)
