Question

Hi,

Anybody had a full 45k service from Graham Goode?

I need a 45k plus 'all other fluids' full service due to not knowing the import history of the car (car was from Universal Motor Group and they said most imports don't carry service history?????!!!!!! (boll!cks - doesn't help me does it?)

I don't mind spending the extra if they really do the business,

thanks in advance

Question

I have never been to GG but looking at the cost of parts from them, its gonna be expensive. The 45K as you probably know is the big one.

Like you say though I would pay a little extra for a good job. Why not post your location roughly . To see if people on here can recommend somewhere they have had the service done.

cheers

chrisp

If GGR know imprezas the way they know Cossies you'll have an excellent service.

I don't know about servicing costs but I was given a quote for a stage 1 chip, GGR conical filter kit, and Grp A dump valve for my cossie, and it was somewhere around £750-800 fitted and set up etc. I thought this seemed quite reasonable?

At the last Midlands mini-meet, I remember somebody saying they had just had their Scooby serviced by GG.

I think it was Paul (posts as WALKER)?

£800 for a stage 1 chip and dump valve is mega money on a cossie.

to give you some idea, i am fitting 4 new motorsport injectors, a 3 bar map sensor and a 330BHP chip for the ultimate P8 ECU.

the lot comes to £480 + vat, the chip alone costs just £180 +vat, if i want water injection mapped in it is another £50.

A stage 1 fitted at most cossie places is about £270. These are not crap chips either, these prices are for ahmed bayjoo supplied chips.

GGR have a good reputation but are very expensive.

Cool

I did have my Scoob serviced at GGR, all be it a 7500 service(£109-00 inc). Even so i can recommend them highly, speak to Alistair, as he is there head mechanic and very knowledgable.
They are more expensive than others, but you pay your money and takes your pick.

Marcus,

If you are in the Midlands, I would recommend Roger Clark Motorsport near Leicester (01455) 828610.

I asked people on the board last year about the best place to go and four out of the five replies recommended them.

I've been up to see them a couple of times and have been impressed.

Probably cheaper than GGR too...

Thanks

Gavin
