Cool

Ive not long had my Scooby, but its been an entirely trouble free period of time without a single hiccup. And touch-wood I hope this arrangement continues and cant see why it would not.
I have changed the front brake pads, they are now perfect.
Ive spent a ****-load on optimax and I dont care.
Its going in for a minor service next weekend and that doesnt worry me.
All in all, excellent.

Dont tell anyone but I think that the car is still worth most of the money I forked out for it as well!!!
Anyone else?

My car is a year old on July 12th, 39,400 miles on the clock and apart from squealing pads (fixed first time) it has been 100% reliable.

Only bothered twice with an interim oil/filter change, both times only the filter was primed, none of that unplugging crank sensor malarkey.

4 main dealer services, I doubt that they bothered to prime/crank etc.

Main dealers using Castrol I think now ? so that's probably whats been in my car, except for the two interims on Mobil 1 15-50.

Always driven at highish speeds, 85 - 100mph for long periods most days.

Always warmed up and cooled down properly.

Always run on SUL or Opti.

If Subaru hadn't screwed me and a few others over with the pointless face lift and price drop I would probably buy another, not so sure now though.

Only joking mate, you got a good one there - take care of it, i.e. don't mod it (oops..... too late )
