Question

Does anybody know the name of the old Top Gear theme tune? I think it is by Eric Clapton. I heard it on the radio the other day but can't think what it is.

Paul.

PS anybody out there from N. Ireland?

Yup, me

I'm from Inishowen, Co. Donegal but currently residing in UK. Can't get more north than that eh?

Ahhhh Donegal - some great roads up there.

I'm from Antrim myself and the Circuit of Ireland and the Ulster Rally come up our road most years

Currently in Chicago working. Can't wait to get home to a decent motor. 4 days to go.........

Paul.

Indeed. Which decent motor did you have in mind? I saw another post from you on the RSOC site

Oh God...I can feel the sad, guitar player in me rising to the fore....

Yep...Jessica was by the Allman Brothers and was featured on their 1973 album 'Brothers and Sisters'.

And, if there are any fellow guitarists out there who hanker to play it then, co-incidentally, it is transcribed in this months' Guitar Techniques magazine....(although I'm too busy learning the Steve Vai piece to have looked at it yet...)

Ok...I'll fetch me coat...
