Question

Two questions,

Has anybody done this?

Is it legal to not have a front fog light?

I have been considering removing my front fog lights altogether and running some ducting to my inner front brakes.

Good idea? Bad idea?

Answers on a postcard...

you don't have to have front fogs (look at all the people who've got spots / driving lamps)

Reckon it would spoil the look of a scoob though (assuming its a scoob you're talking about!) - although i could be convinced by actually seeing it done

I have a 2002 car, with the mesh fog covers, so you would hardly even notice I reckon!

Plus the mesh will stop stones etc. going into the brakes.

Not a problem as far as legality goes: several models came without foglights, STi's etc.
Some people put driving lights in place.
I have seen one thread on here where a guy was querying whether his brake ducting had caused a quite bad warp to his discs. Apparently it can lead to uneven cooling?
