Question

i've heard that i can fit this to my motor and it will give me some more power without having to fit anything else like boost gauge or anything. is this true?

Ditto.
It overrides the boost limit so you can keep boosting until something goes BANG.

well, actually you'll probably just hit fuel cut, and wonder why your face is stuck to the windscreen.

Get a dawes device or similar.
And a boost gauge and a knocklink.

Do it properly and you won't blow your car up.

If you put an AFR and fuel cut defender on there, you can make it even QUICKER!

I'm guessing your car is pre-97 so your best bet is to spend less than £100 on a Scooby ECU chip. Will give you better driveability and a horsepower hike to boot.

bleed valves do the job but basically a boost leak!

I got some MBCs coming in from the USA this week, work much better.

But allways use a boost gauge to set them up! or your asking for bother.
