...didn't want to hijack the thread where you mentioned your wingmirror, but what happened, as mines broken (MY01) - my wife pushed it back into the 'fold' back position' left it, heard and snap and now it's loose. Well that's what she claims....
Any info to assist in a warranty claim would be useful, as I was about to stump up £170 for a new mirror.

One day I noticed the wingmirror looked a bit droopy and was swinging in the wind. Was not aware of it being hit etc.
At service time the dealer looked and could not find the c-clip in the bottom of the mirror `where they normally are` so said I needed a new mirror. From memory was quoted 140 but on saying 'As there is no sign of damage on the mirror will you do it under warranty' they said 'That should be ok' and they fitted it a few days later. Was as easy as that
