never really been able to measure it before but, on the way to my sisters house tonight my 03wrx felt sluggish and just a bit cr@p really - so much so i thought there was something wrong with it!
on the way back i was running on fumes the tank was so empty and i managed to crawl to a shell garage and put a tankfull of Optimax in it and i must admit it felt a completely different car
gave it a bit of a thrash along some a and b roads and was impressed by the thing again
always been a bit sceptical about the optimax issue but now i believe it a bit more now (maybe the fact that the outside tempurature had dropped a couple of degrees too)
so i'll be bothering to find shell from now on, luckily where i live i've got quite a few optimax pumps within reach
