Broken expansion tank
#1
Can anyone help? Is it possible to drive the scoob with the bottom pipe from the expansion tank broken off, it's broken off where it joins the bottom of the tank. Looks like metal fatigue. I need to get it fixed, but the journey is 20 miles to the garage.
Thanks in advance

Either that or take the tank out & send them it ???
Or just buy another1 from one of the breakers It might
workout cheaper than a repair and u know up2 a point that
the replacement unit is good.

Thanks Pete
I'm going to play safe and use my Wife's car to to pick up a new tank and fit it myself.
Now 3 days without the scooby and I'm suffering from withdrawal.

Good shout Steve, u know it makes sense
3 days eh ? U can probably imagine how i was pullin my hair out then when mine was off the road for 6 weeks waiting a replacement engine
BTW if u r getting a used tank its worth taking the hoses as well if u can, as these tend to perish through time (and hard driving)
