Well i got my MY95 WRX yesterday and its mint went for a small drive before - only intended to do 2 miles or so (just a little spin) this lead to doing 40 miles some of which were around 100+ which was nice..........anyway
it came with the standard tape and CD player - which hardly work could i take out the CD player and replace it with my Kenwood single head unit (would it fit?) thats my question or should i try and claim on the warranty?

Sorry - helps if I read your post 
Make life easy - just put in your existing H/Unit - I doubt you'll get anywhere with a warrantee claim....

Ask him about the corrosion the sea air might have caused to the car, under seal etc? Then tell him you've cleaned the unit etc and it still doesn't work- he should be so worried about the corrosion thing and what you'll want for that he'll replace the head unit to get rid of you!
