Just a quick thanks for nothing to Dave (probably a false name) who called to buy my mate's scooby on Sunday. Said he has seen it mentioned on this BB (I had posted about it) and was very keen. He arranged a time to see it and even called from his mobile and said he was running late and would be another hour. He called again and said he was nearly there. He never arrived and when we called him we found his phones numbers were false. Who gets a morbid sense of satisfaction by this display. It means there are some mighty sick people on the BB.

Anyone who is genuinely interested though, my mate jeremy has a 98R he wants to sell. He is not a BB member and probably wouldn't know how to login anyway so I am helping out. The car is very clean and hardly used with only 20k on the clock. He wants 15000 to 15500 for it. It has quickshift, leather, sunroof. His dealer has offered him 14500 on the P1 which is due soon. If you are GENUINELY interested please email him direct at jeremy1950@aol.com

Make sure your security is good i have known cars going missing after incidents like this,
all they need is an address.

Struck me the same as soon as I read it. Park it somewhere else if you can and definetly mention it to the local police.

It would be appropriate if the guilty party, if innocent, would e-mail Lee and put his mind at rest now that we have all put the fear of God up him!!

my thoughts as well. Be very carefull for the next few days and never give your address to someone until you have verified there land line number with there home address.
There are lots of bandits out there, be carefull.

Yep, I will definately echo rb on this one, be careful I have seen this done before.

It happened to a dealer who nearly sold me a GT4 Celica (keep quiet Mr Watkins) years ago.

Try and keep it somewhere other than where you told him to meet you from now on.

Mike.
