wooooh!, haven't done it myself , but beware parting with money before you get the thing , I think a couple of these import firms have gone **** up recently (guy from work lost his deposit).I wouldn't even pay for a used car from a main dealer before I picked it up !

I used Keyring Cars when I got my old Turbo and they were great.

They handled the paperwork and arranged everything with the dealer, who I subsequently checked out and confirmed was a genuine Subaru agent. Saved a whack load of cash and the whole process was painless. The dealer was also incredibly courteous and professional - he even drove 25 miles to pick me up from the station.

Watch the Euro v. £ exchange rate though.

Good luck

Dave

With the euro rate where it is there isnt much in the price difference between uk and euro import cars after adding alarms ect.

The prices you see advertised have a rate assumption of around 1.49 to 1.63 I have seen and the euro / pound rate hasnt been at this for months. Shop around UK dealers and you can get a wrx III for 19k Importing will be about 17.5k and alarm ontop of that there is just over 1k price difference, why bother.
