Thank Feck I Sold Me Scobby
I sold my bike to get my scobby payed 10k for it, what a mistake although for a car good fun just not a rush like a bike. I had a indicated 155 from it and I had a few blasts with other motors but it is nothing like the extreme speed and rush from a motorcycle so after 3 months shes gone and if ever anyone trys to sell their bike for a car think twice unless you can afford both. My brother has just sold his 748 to buy a new Clio Sport 172 that will be sold by the end of summer. Scobbys sorry but very boring please if you can go motorcycling. Scobby RIP.
anyway... it's 'scooby'... not 'scobby'...
maybe that's where you went wrong... you bought a rebadged nova with a bonnet scoop, instead of a subaru.

muhwahaha
(god i hate being at work at this time on a sunday)

Sorry about the spelling mistakes and no I have not put this thread up to wind you lot up. I enjoyed the car some of the time, if you look through the for sales thread you will see my car for sale. The purchaser see it on scoobynet. Told him the same not the enjoyment I am after still glad I have owned one. But at the same time looking foward to getting a bike.
Picked a Biker up off the tarmac yesterday, he was accelerating out the petrol station way to fast (probably felt threatened because my 22b was parked outside)he stopped at the end of the petrol station to give way, lost his balance and fell off. The bike fell on top of him and trapped his leg, so being the nice person i am i picked up the bike to free his leg and helped him to his feet. Anyway he was alright, but the bike wasnt.. oil & petrol pumping out all over the garage forecourt and the bike only fell over on its side.. what a pile of ****
Sorry about the essay, had to get it off my chest, feel much better now.

This is a great comparison. 2 wheels V 4, 2.0 turbo engine v 700cc (ish), 5 seats and a boot v 1 and a bit for someone to hang on, steering wheel v handle bar, 1200kg v 200kg....how pointless and stupid. Most people wouldn't dream of replacing a car with a bike. 'come on lads lets go to the cinema and see that new flick - I'll drive. Oh sorry, I can only take one person!'
I sold my trainers the other day because I couldn't get the same buzz and excitement on them running around as I could on my snowboard - hope you see my point

I sold my gas cooker and got a halogene, Big Mistake, Gas cookers give instant heat and cooking can take place within 1/2 second.
On the other hand halogene cookers take over 1 second before cooking can commence, I lost the buzz for cooking because it took so long with the halo.
Got the old gas burner back, save four seconds the week alone.

B16 I think you'll find very few cars that can give you the kind of rush a bike can. On the flip side very few cars can give the performance, practicality and value for money a Scooby can.
yeeeessss....crap spelling aside, what a pointless thing to post on here? i recently sold my honda civic type r and yamaha r1 so i could get my sti and it was the best decision ever made by a human being.
yes the r1 was gorgeous, fast and fun but having to work half of the weekends and the other half piddling it down with rain i hardly ever got to use it (never mind the fact that on a bike it is not a case of if, its a case of WHEN you end up in hospital). anyway i got absolutely stitched up on insurance and depreciation and it had to go. besides, you can't get the back out on a bike! (unless you want to die painfully)

I sold my bike to buy my 2nd scoob after I killed the first one.
After abot 2 weeks I regretted it every day for almost a year.
I bought another bike but NEVER at the expense of the scoob! I prefer ragging the scooby to the bike (babyblade). But they're too different kinds of buzzes when you're flying through the lanes!
Plus, I know that if I did on my bike what I did in my car I'd have been in bits all over the blacktop!

Nice to see your comments my scooby spelling has improved. Prehaps I brought the car after going out in a friends STI and I was impressed but its going to be a motorcycle now and a pretty normal car. Was not trying to wind you up but I have had a chuckle reading your comments. See you all later as I doubt i'll use this site again now the cars sold thank ****
Why havent you got both, you peasant.......
Believe me fast bikes and WINTER don't mix, enjoy you bus rides for 5 months of the year.
ps. For those months your bike is sat in the garage, try not to think of the money its loseing, bikes...are toys for the summer and thats it.
