Where did you hear this gem? There could be some truth in it, as Subaru have been looking to consolidate their EU operations into one and, like it or not, we're seen as part of the EU... But IM are still a pretty powerful voice IMHO.

from the dealer, think it might be somthink to do with parts side,suposed to be some sort of announcement made in the next day or two.

This is nothing more than a vicious rumour that has been doing the rounds for a few months, and there is absolutely no substance to it.
I heard the rumour myself several months ago, and have heard it several times since from various people, sometimes with a different angle to it (ie who was taking over etc.)
As there is no truth in it, I'll lock the thread.
