Wink

With all the recent posts about that engine cleaning stuff from halfords i thought i would give it a go. All i can say is wow, I have never seen my engine so clean it looks brand new. Still got some left so I will save that for next time.
Apologies I have no pics of it before and after.

Only one question though, how long does it last for?.

Question

Is it essential to use a jetwash or will just a hose do?

hose should do fine, i just used the gun i use in for watering the plants in the garden. you only need to rinse it off and i dont know about you but i dont like spraying my engine too much.

I didnt use the halfords one, I used the Autoglym Engine Cleaner, similar price tho

Then used the Autoglym Vinyl & Rubber Spray, spray it liberally all over plastic bits etc, leave for 3 or 4 minutes, then wipe off excess to a shine you can see your face in
