Do you use Norton anti viruse? There is a known issue where Norton software interferes with the banner ads, this also effects the reply button. Try adjusting your settings, good luck and welcome to the board

I CAN SEE AGAIN...!!! Thanks for your help, wow never seen the site look like this! Is there no way of using the site without having to disable my virus protection though? Don't really fancy having it disconnected.

If you dont want to mess around with norton there is an easier non techy way of doing it.
Go into the thread and in the address bar it will say someting like
http://www.scoobynet.co.uk/bbs/thread.asp?threadid=220588
now when you click the reply box to the thread you get :
http://www.scoobynet.co.uk/bbs/Reply.asp?ThreadID=220588
The only difference between the two is that if you compare the two one says thread.asp and the other says Reply.asp
So open any thread and change the thread.asp for Reply.asp and it will bring up the reply window for the thread. Dont change anything else in the address bar though as it wont work.
Not elegant, not flashy but its a workaround .
