Had one up my ar$e this morning after dropping the missus off from work ... the road opened up onto a dual-carriageway and I put my right boot down in 3rd from about 45mph up until the red line in the same gear (sure you all know how fast this is ) ... I only opened up about 3-4 car lengths from him ... I then let him go as he wanted to go faster and I couldn't be bothered being silly, then realised it had 4 exhausts and what looked like a very discreet Hartge logo Came past flippin quick as well ...

Cracking little motor and has some serious punch for such a little car - respect !!

Cheers

Might well have been the supercharged 200Bhp Hartage conversion. If so 3-4 car lengths is quite an impressive gap.

The new mini's are very good cars, but limited in rear and boot space. Flipping fun to hoon around in through.

Mark - no it wasn't mate, was a silver one ... also had a standard Cooper S having a go as well this morning and that seemed nearly as quick to be honest ....

Cheers
Phil

When the missus needs a motor (or should I say we need two cars and she doesn't take the scoob !) a Cooper S is top of the list at the moment ...

To be honest when you pull away from another car and its only a short distance it takes a lot more power than the car behind to get there!
