Please dont take this thread to be a " my car is faster than yours" thread.
It details what actully happened.
03 WRX PRE PPP.
On a couple of occasions my old pal Paul had laughed when i said that i thought the 03 could pull away from his 225 TT.
And after proving my point he came up with daft excuses like !.
1. my phone rang.
2. my hood was down
3. i dropped me ciggy
He was more pi**ed when i told him that he was driving a car which was frequented by hair stylest and boys who (PUTT FROM THE ROUGH).
JOKE!!!!!!
When we were on the road the o3 did pull away from his TT although it was a gradule pull, But a pull none the less.
Post PPP.
He wasent having any of it, A what ? he laughed, A PPP, HA HA Waste of money, it cant possibly make that much diiferance.
Tha laugh was him, o yes indeedie,We pulled out of his street and stuck to the 30mph required by law, for about a mile.
The small black/white sign was visible about 100 yards ahead, He took up a position about a car length behind, And tried to get a jump on me, I was still in second, floored it , And felt a mad rush as the o3 PPP pulled away in a fashion befitting a super car.
He stood not a chance, It was a great feeling to really kick his butt this time, There was no mistake the 03 was now a far quicker car.
Of course he was on the phone and missed a gear, that why i pulled away.
He also has a 600cc sports bike (yamaha i think) which is now his weapon of choice.
Should i bother having a blast with his wee bike'y thing???

Can he really ride a bike? (Suspect not many TT owners can 
) But if so, you're in trouble.
If he can't, on a twisty country road you should have him. On a flat-out blast, you don't stand a chance.

Sad thing for your friend is that an old classic Impreza would hand him his *** on a plate too.
Never mind MY03 PPP.
Still I bet he looks nice in his bike leathers I'm sure he would be very popular if he wore them to a TT owners meet.

I would fancy my chances against the bike too
(whan he drops his ***, he will have to stop to pick it up)
