Following my de-cat (downpipe) and new back box I got an amazing 330 miles before orange light on tank one and 305 on tank two - with Optimax and mixed driving. Had to use a leading supermarket superunleaded and so far have had less than 130 at below half tank - I get between 180 and 200 at this point normally. Roughly the same driving styles too. The 6p a litre saving turns out to be one hell of a false economy.

:-(

Stick to the Optimax mate, or add some Octane boosting formula to the supermarket stuff and see if that makes a difference.
Cheers
Daz.

Yeah, I put 3/4 tank of Optimax in this evening and the car feels better again, much better throttle response etc etc.
