Seriously thinking of buying an STI 8. Does anyine know if their dealers have any in stock ? Really want one in Silver or Black

Dont know about silver, i had to wait a three months for black. but could have had blue in six weeks.

very pleased with the black, sod to keep clean - but when it is it look the nuts.

Here in Northern Ireland there doesn't seem to be any lack of them. It was the same back in 1998 - 1999 when people in the south of England were waiting months for a Turbo. We could just walk in and drive out in one.

My dealer currently has a blue STi8 sitting in the showroom and he's keen to sell it, I am sure there are other dealers with more cars.

Might be worth checking the Subaru website for dealers in Northern Ireland and ringing around. You can fly over here on Easyjet for something like £20, you may be able to get the colour you want and at present delivery seems to be "when does it suit you to pick it up..."

 

last week both donalds in peterborough + triangle in chesterfield both had new sti in silver

Got my black STi8 from Osbornes as well, first black one they had I believe Two or three weeks from order to pickup.

 

Thanks for the replies guys. Just need to convince myself its a good move. The WRX has a good appeal with the PPP. I dont keep cars long, so want to get the one that drops in value the slowest Seen some of the horror stories on the 7. WOnder if it will affect the 8 ?

 

Placed my order for a silver one in March.

It is now in the country available for me to pick up, but I leave on holidays at the end of the week and didn't want it's first week to be at an airport carpark. So I pick it up the day after I get back.

Also put silver 18" Bright Flitter Prodrive-FF7 wheel on it, the dealer is buying the gold ones off of me. PPP goes on at 1,000 service.

For the first time ever I am looking forward to my holiday ending !!
