With remaps, what's the difference between the companies that carry out the mod, is there different power gains?

Probably not much of a difference, with a custom remap like BRD are doing for me, its using the standard ECU as opposed to something like a Link or Gems etc, and it will be mapped specifically for the mods on my car at that time.
Different tuners may do certain things slightly differently on any given car but as long as its set up to run safetly its the modifications / components on that car which will determine the final output figures and drivability.
