And I don't know what it is.

Whining that goes up and down with engine speed. Only starts after a spirited drive and stops again after the car has been switched off.

It is definately from under the bonnet and I have a feeling it could have something to do with the steering, I just can't suss out why it changes in line with engine revs unless it is something to do with the engine.

Car is running as well as ever following a new MAF and wastegate solonoid but I need to get this noise sorted..

Help

Thanks

Rich

Nice one, reckon that could be it then. Dealer had a quick sniff around it and agreed with my thoughts that is something to do with steering.

I am so bloomin paranoid about something going wrong with the engine.

Will get it booked in again soon for that job now!!

Barely seen my car for 2 months due to little bits getting sorted on it. Trouble with these cars is not much seems obvious. I used to know exactly what was wrong with my old cars!!!

Did he check the power steering fluid level in the reservoir?
