When you wave and the person ignores you or looks at you gone out, do you feel daft. The last person gave me such a weird look I felt stupid, makes me think if I will bother giving a wave again.

I always wave; sometimes I miss one and feel really bad about it.
Its really difficult checking every car to see it its got a turbo induction scoop.
That’s normally the first thing to stand out in traffic

Ajax, Your right sometimes you miss a scoob and when you've seen it, it's gone past. when that happens tap your brakes to flash the lights, that will show them you wern't being off.

Maybe a more conspicuous wave is needed?
Perhaps the 'Half Rimmer.'
Or try the 'Full Rimmer' if you're feeling brave (of course this does mean taking both hands off the wheel)
You're bound to get attention this way.
Just a thought!

I always wave too but do feel stupid when people dont wave back which also then makes for a certain amount of stick from passengers!!!
My Sister knows a guy that owned a Scooby (he wrote it off last week) and when she metioned the whole waving thing he suddenly realised why people where waving at him
Have to feel sorry for him as he as just experienced a terible loss

I find up north here it's more like 20% that wave, but here's a trick.... leave it right until the last second, then they wave automatically coz they're not sure if they know you. lol
