Question

Hello folks,

Wondered if theres anything extra to the normal MOT process for my car for the first time since its initial MOT on arrival on these shores?

Will I have any trouble with the CAT readings etc.

Just want to try prepare best as before anythings goes wrong.

Any advice welcome.

I did have trouble Mark and they even replaced the Lambda sensor which did not fix it. However they found that the seam on top of the back box (oe STI box) was split and the leak which could not be heard was ruining the Lambda reading. As soon as that was sealed there was no problem, in fact better than most. maybe worth making sure that the moving joint at the bottom end of the downpipe is not leaking too.

I hope to get those photos for you soon.

Les

Thanks Les - y'know this is the only MOT where I'm kinda nervous about. No real reason why, but just that funny 'someone is going to rip me off' feeling inside.

Fingers crossed though
