Hi !

I know you will all be biased but I have a choice to pick up either a 318ci V reg BMW or a Scooby Estate.

Now the dilemma is : I've always wanted a scooby but prefer the saloon version. Is the estate version any different apart from obvious looks, ie. performance etc. ?

I need somebody unbiased (is it possible on here ? ) to help me :

Hi, it really boiles down to what kind of driving you prefer most. I had the 318 E46 for almost 4 years and think it was good. Nice car, good interior and handling (had sports package = lowered, bucket seats etc). No problems during ownership. It lacks power so for cruising it's ok. Fully loaded with passengers and luggage, you should be carefull when overtaking . The Scooby is (as you probably know) a different beast when it comes to power and of course is different to drive due to the turbo and + 90 HP over the BMW. I would not change back unless it was a M3
