strange sound from engine

can anyone help me i've had my 2001 wrx for nearly 2 months and i've been really happy with it, but the other day i was on the motorway doin about 120, 130 then all of a sudden i heard this loud noise coming from around the engine, it sounded like a car horn!!so i slowed down and it stopped, then i hit about the same speed it did it again! does anyone hav any idea wot it is.

Its to do with the airflow over the top of the windscreen.

Scary when you first hear it but nothing to worry about.

yeah ive had that too
some say its the rubbers on the windows,
cant really take it to you dealer to try it out,
me and you are lucky we get at high speeds
one guy said he got it at 90

maybe subaru telling you your going to fast

I do know that its worse when you have a strong cross wind.
