Help with info on a racing driver's career?

I'm doing some research on the racing career of a guy called Bill Sutton.
He certainly used to drive ERA's after the war, but competed in pretty much any race he could. At one time he also shared a flat with Stirling Moss.
Can someone shed any light on websites that might hold results info, etc. I can't seem to find anything.

I tried the VSCC site, but that wasn't much help. I've got a Guiness book of world motor sport results at home, that I can check later...
