Exclamation

I've just been on the phone to Anderson Cars to book my car in for a service, and was told to hang back for a few days.

Apparently the receivers have been called into Anderson Cars, and this is affecting all outlets (including Perth).

Although the Subaru outlets in Aberdeen and Perth were still trading very well, it was the other franchises in the group which have been hit hard (Nissan, Ford, Renault, Seat etc), as no-one has been buying new cars with
all this fuss over new car prices etc.

Unfortunately, as the group as a whole has been suffering, NONE of the bills were being paid, and IM Group have frozen their accounts with Anderson Cars, which means no new cars or parts being delivered, and uncertainty over the future of these franchises.

It looks like parts of the group be sold off to cover the debts, and allow some of the sites/franchises to continue trading.

There should be more info available next week as to the trading status of the Subaru franchises, but the staff (who are all being kept in the dark by management) are hopeful that their successful franchises will be permitted to continue trading.

Red face

Nervous days if you are on the P1 list - what will they do with the order?
Luckily the deliveries seem to be delayed long enough for this to sort itself out.
Cheers
Charles
