I'm currently researching for an imminent purchase of a WR blue WRX 4door and have been filling my head with all sorts of troubles from this forum.
I am certain I am going to buy a new MY03 UK spec import, not only for the savings, but for the principal too. My concerns relate to the warranty, and the sour grapes from Subaru UK, its dealers and International Motors. I wanted to buy the car, and run it for a year or so before adding the PPP, but after reading several threads on here I think I'll have to order the PPP fitted to the car from new. Unless the sour grape red tape brigade loosen up and allow UK dealers to fit it and still honour the warranty.
Just had an email from Emporer Imports, latest prices for MY03 WRX are £16395 (1:1.57 exchange rate) to £17780 (1:1.44).
This includes free UK delivery, Cat 1 (Sigma M30) alarm, full tank, mats and metallic paint.
Options list includes :- PPP £1500, Leather £1395, Colour Coded Side Skirts £145, RAC Trackstar £625.
Given the concerns over PPP, has anyone else bought from them and specified PPP? Also, with such good prices are their cars full UK spec and not some dodgy Cyprus import?
If they check out as OK I'll be ordering soon.

These cars will be euro imports (but ask for the chassis number and check it out at your local dealer who should be able to tell you where it came from )
I would go for the PPP as at 1500 quid its 100 quid cheaper than over here and you would have to have it fitted in the country of origin otherwise you wont have any warranty back up.
