Stick on number pl,ates
#1
Hi,
I have a P1 in addition to a caterham 7. I have recently been able to source oblong stick on front and rear number plates and letters for the Caterham owners and thought this may be of interest to Scooby owners. This is not a commercial venture and yes I do not they are illegal so they are for off road use only of course.
If any one is interested I will re-post with prices and details.
I do not have many so would be first come first served.
Regards
Tony

its fine to do that until u get caught i imagine u could probably lose ur licence for it or get a severe fine so its not very sensible is it?
one of my mates lost his front number plate and was fined £30 but he did not even know it had fallen off. so would u rather run about thinking tour smart and get a ine or be like everybody else and not have to worry?

I have not had any problems with my plate on my Caterham 7 and to my knowledge nor has anyone else. Although technically now not legal I think the are only Police with the owners who really play around with the letters/numbers to the point that it is difficlut to know what the plate says.
Anyway if anyone is interested in me supplying oblong front or rear plates here are the details; For those new to this posting I am again a position to offer 'stick on' front (white reflective oblong) and rear (yellow reflective oblong) number plates and letters and numbers to suit. Both plates and characters are of the standard size, but according to other postings they are NOT legal for the road, so these are for off-road use ONLY.
I can supply the background for £5.00 each and the letters for 25p each.
This is not my business, so I cannot accept bulk orders so more than four plates in total from any individual please.
Post and Packing will be £1.00 for up to six plates.
Example; reg A7 JPE for the front only would cost £5.00 (plate) + 5x25p (characters) = 1.25 + £1 p&p, total £7.25.
Please send you order to; Tony Pickering,

Please make cheques payable to L Pickering and please do NOT forget your name and address.

To my understanding the only reason stick on plates are illegal is because the material it is printed on does not have a BS No on it. So long as you have the correct size/spacing and it is clearly visible I don't see that many police would be bothered anyway.
