determining whethere an engine is a legacy or an impreza. i have spoken to one guy and he has said 99.9% that only legacy engines came with twin bolt coil packs. just need a second opinion

Whats the actual engine number? maybe post some photo's. I know I certainly couldn't tell and I've seen a leg engine in an impreza and couldn't have spotted a difference

i really need a company taht knows there stuff. I have been told of a few minor differences and i would not have seen them without being told about them.
also, is there anyway i can trace the original vehicle via an engine number?
