How come, when I tell everyone that I have a new Scooby, all the horror stories of car theft come out of the cupboard? Nearly everyone I know, who is into cars, has some horror tale to tell about a mate of a mate uncles, brothers, sisters, auntie, who's Scooby was nicked while they were shopping in Asda, with the kids in the back, while towing a caravan????
I heard a good one today, mate at work has a sweet beemer, which he parks next door at his aunties. His other neighbour has a scooby, and scum broke his door down only the other week, threatened him with GBH, nicked his keys and took the car! I said I bet he was glad it wasn't his auntie that they threatened for HIS car, hehe. I think he is having second thoughts about where he parks it now!
Still, all the horrors won't put me off Scooby ownership,

I have had mine from new, and when I first had it, I brought it up my drive and my neighbour looked out and said "Most nicked car in the UK, that!"
I think it's called envy.................
