Got back from Portugal last night and got a call form the police to say Lavender Hill Garage had been broken into and your cars gone. If anyone sees anything along these lines pls let me know ..

It could have been worse. It looked like a professional job and coming back from the airport at about 1am I drove past Lavender Hill and thought I saw one of the gates open. I don't know if I'd want to have confronted a team of car theives .

Sorry to hear your news.... would you be covered under the Dealer's insurance - claim on theirs as opposed to yours.....

I know it's not the same as your car, but at least nobody was hurt...

Thanks Dan I'll keep you posted. Sort of glad I didn't stop as I'd have probably been shot or run over and a cars not with that.

OH MY F*CKING GOD MATE!!!!!!!! what a nightmare, my wrx was there a couple of weeks ago, parked up on the forecourt for some service work & left it with them!!!!!! sorry to hear about that man, scum bags! hope it all work out with the insurance/recovery, i must say i am glad i am out of Scooby ownership(sorry)

I think i should stop putting my active tracker in "valet mode" when i am at the dealers. This sort of thing usually worries me but u dont expect it to happen

mate, i take my scoob there all the time. i dont know if this is any help, but on the service book, (on mine anyway), the over-ride code for the immobilisor was stuck on the first page, therefore, anyone there would have had access to disarm the car - hence i ripped it off and have it in a safe place. is your over-ride code on the book as-well and did u ever leave it with them??

Sorry to hear that Allan, i also use LHG all the time but so far haven't had to leave overnight.

Starting to get a bit worrying as this is all to close to home now.
