It would have been interesting to hear the performance figures for the genuine road cars, especially the Impreza, instead, only the cars with ridiculously elaborate and expensive mods were featured.
The surprise was just how disappointing these accelleration times really were when considering the horse power on tap - 750, even 800bhp. Putting that power onto the road is another matter, and the rear-wheel drives all struggled with snaking and wheel spin, turning in figures well beneath their predictions, and barely above a showroom Sti PPP. It did seem that these cars could travel on the road, but were unlikely to do so, but more to the point, the difference between a regular WRX with AWD and a 7 litre purpose-built monster is not that great, and I reckon it would have been much more interesting had there been some rain.

The scoobs is peccys.
Its a uk2000 with full blitz, tsl down pipe, tek 2 and filter running round 280 horses. He cocked his run up though as he was changing to 3rd just before he hit 60.
