morning guys and gals
looking for new tyres for my scooby have seen the threads on crossroads f1 deals , but was wondering if anyone had tried avons zz1 or zv1/2/3 patten is cool, i had 4 sets on my astra mk4 tuned it up to 310bhp and still got around 10,000 from the fronts , but quite scary in the wet , now have class 02 wrx . any views on avons.they were fitted to the bentley j clarkson thrashed on top gear but bentley have their own spec .

Had then on my STi 2 and found them quite hard wearing and grip was quite good but not as good as the S02's that they replaced. Very noisy tyre ie a lot of squealing under cornering. people used to look for a car being driven by a nutter when the reality was all I was doing was trying to park or something.

Prepare yourself for an onslaught of people shouting NO! I had ZZ1's supplied as the tyres on a 17" wheel package for my Gti-6 and they were the worst tyres I have ever come accross and actually contemplated changing them after a couple of thousand miles, they really are that bad. I believe the ZZ3's are a lot better but once bitten............

ZZ3's are awesome. Better tan the GSD3 I have at the moment, ZZ1 had a design fault, really noisy and not too much grip.
Dont be scared of the ZZ3 though, it is a good tyre.
