What happened to McRae?? That Peugeot is certainly proving a quick little number! This puts Richard in the lead for the drivers title, and Subaru still in first place for the constuctors...let's hope it stays that way!!

Well done Mr Burns
So a Brit wins a rally again.... how much press coverage?????
NONE I expect, we're more interested in the almost rans like Mr Henman who gets two pages of press for coming second.

Well Done Messrs Burns / Reid.
Unlucky for Juha / Juha - Still it was his first accident in 18 Months.
Eurosport do a 15 minute show every night of the Rally and then condense them all into a 1 Hour special ( shown on Monday night ) with lot's of in car stuff.
Then Grandstand do half an hour next weekend followed by World Rally on BBC 2 ( Monday or Tuesday after Grandstand about 14:10 ish )

Eurosport have coverage each night of the rally (Tonight 22:15 UK Time, Highlights are shown tomorow (Mon) at 21:00).
They cover most of the WRC Rounds but seem to have problems getting footage back when the event is on the other side of the world, events like Argentina are only on for about 15 Mins.
The BBC also show highlights a few weeks later at the weekends

Living in Cardiff the local press think the only sport that exists is one thats played by men with odd shaped *****.Trouble is I doubt that will change even when the RAC comes to the city this year.
Cheers
Chip.

Two things...
Dave P - it depends which paper you read - The Times devoted a third of a page and a groovy photo to Burnsie this morning. They always have fairly good coverage.
Also - did everyone realise that it is the first Englishman (even tho he has a Scottish name and looks like one) to ever lead the WRC rankings!
OK - three things...
...did anyone see the coverage on Eurosport - the new car is even more amazing than the old one.
The car was SO stable, even after big yumps there seemed to be no rebound - the car just stayed flat. Also when Burnsie was driving at lunatic speeds he was hardly adjusting the car at all. ALL of the other drivers were having to drive much harder just to stay in touch.
So clearly the new car is even better - and to win on it's first outing - GROOVY!

Well done!
No question about Richard and impreza level...on the top...
Now hope for catalunya that pirelli will confirm the effort made
If pirelli is good even on tarmac events so let's be optimistic for the season (fingers crossed)
