been offerd this car buy a lad i know,who took it in as part ex on his range rover

he only had it 3 weeks

not seen any of the paper work yet but, he says it has a file about 3 inches thick, every recipt has been kept,

M plate, flat red, saloon, 113000 miles with f/s/h, 18 in kahn rsr wheels, which do look very nice, lowerd but i dont know what with as yet,

looked under the bonnet and there was a blitz sus induction kit, blitz dumpvalve, nice down pipe, with a blitz NUR Spec system, (full Decat)

but cant understand a few little things about it,

on top of the turbo was a like blower thingy which when the bonnet was closed the left hand side of the Slanted intercooler (standing in front of the car) had sort of been diveded of so all the cold air is forced down directly onto the turbo it's self, looked very effective but whether it is or not i dont know,

he said it belonged to a chap who worked for Prodrive, and that it had the prodrive pack on it, but it was getting dark so can't see much,

i have a camper van for sale which he wants i want £5000, for this, so do you think a fair swap is ok????????

the guy has know idea about the scoob, Blitz etc, didnt know what any of it was, all he know is that the wheels are worth a few quid,

what do you think??

it is a very nice looking car, apart from the low level spoiler on the boot lol

Got a real bargain on my first scoobs like this, the car was heavily modded and guy didn't have a clue about it, he didn't even know that the FMIC was not standard.
Does sound like a good deal, but i remember reading on here that red coloured scoobs are not very sought after as they seem to lack in holding their value.
Maybe you could try getting it checked over as i got mine inspected from Jap-innovations before i done the deal. Found some really interesting upgrades that i'd never seen before.

SOunds like a good deal mate.

Take it off him, strip the parts off and either put it on yours or sell it and then sell the car.

Is the car uk or import? 113k could still be in km!

You could sell the car for £4000 say, sell the wheels for £700, Blitz for £400 and thats over your money back easy (you could probably get a bit more on the above).

THen you still have the Prodrive stuff on it, downpipe etc for you to sell or not.

hell gonna stuggle running 2 of these cars, only just about afford
to run 1 of em,
lol

took it for a spin last night, all sounds ok, but the boost is very up and down,,
like it will pull like mad then the turbo will hesistate, thren itwill pull again, it seem to pull better in higher revs, any ideas????????

the thing handles far better than mine i will give it that, but it not a quick,
it is sooooooooooo low, i cant even get 1 finger in the arch,. which have been rolled,

maybe when i post pic you guys can help me out as to what the car has got on it,

i have receipts for a couple of thosand pounds, but some of the thing are just a part number, 1 is for £600 fron swift motorsport, but dont know what it is for,!! have you heard of them???



i have recipt for new turbo which was fitted last year at Aldon so think im ok there,
