Not me before you ask. But....
Was at my friendly traders garage a couple of weeks back looking over his DBM MY99 V Turbo while he was performing a HPI check on a silver Impreza that was for sale on this very site.
During the time he was doing the HPI check a lad came in and put a deposit down on the DBM MY99. Anyway, dealer made a good profit on the car. Arranged for it to be picked up yesterday afternoon.
Wandering by the showroom this morning with my loyal pooch after a Sunday stroll I noticed the DBM MY99 was back. "Strange. It's mint. Why's it back?" I thought .
Turn's out that on arrival of getting home with his lovely new car on Saturday evening, the buyers missus kicked him out for buying it! I could understand her doing so if it was the MY01 Fugly So to cut a (now) long story short... the friendly trader agreed to take the car back. Wasn't that nice of him? But he did pay back £800 less than he sold it for.
Looks like tomorrow I'll have a MY99 to play with on the way to viewing some other Scoobs.
I'd certainly give my bird the sack if she tried to tell me I couldn't have one after I'd bought it. Especially if it'd cost me £800 for what turned out to be one nights hire!
Anyone had similar trouble with their other halves?

His misses obviously had taste. If was the fact that taste would of dictated a new shape and not retro Scooby She then realised she'd married a man who belonged to the 20th and not 21st century .

Mrs said to me..
"if you buy a scooby, I want a new car"...
I said:
"Study for 9 years like me - then you can have whatever car you like darling.."
Needless to say that was the last I heard of it..

"i loved my old car more than i love you"
Upto press my bird has almost driven into my car, whacked another car hard with my door and put three holes inthe rear seat with a ***.
All of the above installed a face of terror on the said lady. We got over these things but she knows one day i might snap and make a choice.
Healthy Scoob or fit bird?

I find it hard to believe that there are women on this planet who think that they even come close to a Scooby, no contest!

But just imagine what a miserable existance that bloke must have if he did actually do as told and take it back and was prepared to take an £800 hit in the process. Poor bloke.

The guy has done as he was told by his missus as the car is now sat back on the traders forecourt.
I'm going to tell the dealer I'll have it for £8750 if he gets it sprayed Sonic Blue. Just don't like dark blue...

My missus told me she would finish with me if I tried to sell the scoob!!! It means more to both of us than we do!!
Still, you can't beat a girl with taste
Guess I'm a lucky one
....... And what's wrong with a dark blue V plate??
£8750!! You must be mad!! lol.
