I've got these on my car & they are below the ridge. This is where I've seen all other ppl put them. There is a pic on the P1woc, under P1 news, Side protection trims.

Mine gets knicks in the door edge vertically from being blown into adjacent cars, they are slight knicks but still annoying to me.

Sorry I cant answer those questions, as its not my car, but my mates

Hopefully he will see this thread and be able to answer your questions, the only thing I do know is that they were from a dealer, and they were not blue

My mate had them painted to match his car

Anyone know the approx dealer cost to have them painted and fitted?

Like the rest of you, I'm getting pretty annoyed with the carelessness of others parking too close to me. I can't keep taking up 2 spaces in car parks either or worse still circling car parks like a vulture just waiting for the right space next to a shiny new car...

Thanks Sonic.

Probably try and get them fitted at the next service. Might be sooner though if I encounter any more clowns that have no awareness of parking!!

A few days ago I was in a car park with about 50 free spaces. I park at the bottom out of the way and this woman parks so close to me that her door only managed to open about a foot! I'm still working out why she parks next to me and not in any of the other 50!!

Cheers
