Don't know if the guy registers on the UK map, but he's NZ's top rally driver, had a big hand in the possumlink ECU development - and does all his rally driving in a WRX.

check his website - http://www.possumbourne.co.nz/index.html

In the Brit phrase - an all-round top guy, good to talk with, runs a friendly garage with 4wd rolling road and is an excellent after-dinner speaker.

Apparently he was doing a recce for a weekend rally (Cardrona) in a normal car and was involved in a head on.

Still on the critical list.

regards

Very sad news.
Years ago while i was spectating on the RAC rally i saw Possum go off the road into a ditch and rip one of his front wheels off.
Me and a few mates pulled him out of the ditch and and then sat on the back of the car so he could make it to the end of the stage....in the press it said it was his co-driver that sat on the back of the car ahh well
Hope he pulls through ok.
