Have an EU MY02 WRX, but have major problem with paintwork after dealer ran it through a car wash, see http://www.scoobynet.co.uk/bbs/thread.asp?threadid=193943

Have to agree with Rob can't blame the manufactuer for what a dealer did
Unless the paint fell off during the blow dry, as Subaru's aren't renouned for the thickness of paint

The scratches caused by Carwash brushes can be removed relatively easily with a good machine polish using compound G3, and then finished with hand glaze.. Should come back better than ever!

A dealer once scratched the paint on one of my scoobs after a service when they washed it. The dealer responded by repairing the damage FOC. It was only light scractching to, similar probelm. They used some special 3M product on it
