Top Gear test a standard UK imp 97 turbo and did 0-60 in 5.2 and 0-100 in 14.5 and 1/4 mile in 13.9 at 98mph. Dont know about the legacy though.

imp has a 10hp advantage and probably about 100kg AS STANDARD
but they can be modified prety much the same, and for now I would take the lower price leggy with better build quality (reflected in weight though). Oh wait, I already did.

Legacy was quoted as 6.9 I'm sure. had both and I think that figure is a bit pessimistic. Very quick once its going and not much slower than an iMpreza but initial weight and gearing probably makes it slower off the line.
