Mine seems to have jammed or packed in!!

Any tips on how to sort this problem or replace actuator? I don't even know where it is!!!

No kidding mine was broken too, 98 wagon in green, Could not fit it so i bought a 03 wrx instead. (no kidding)

Similar problem on mine, I've been told it's not the solenoid but the wiring breaking down between the hatch & the roof lining due to the opening & closing of it.
Just use the key !

i hope they've sorted this with MY03 wagons.... No keyhole on boot!
