Does anyone know if a bloke called Micheal Ferries is still alive? he used to make intercooler splitters and have e-mailed him but with no response, his web site was last updated over a year ago. Am after a i/c splitter if anyone can point me in the right direction i`d be a bit chuffed

I think I still have one in the garage that you can have.
Off my my99, never put it on the P1 (only had it 2 years after all ) and the 8 has already got one.
mail me if any good & I will go take a look.

BuRR, they are a simple piece of shaped aluminium that sits under the hood scoop. They split the airflow to ensure the front half of the intercooler receives as good a dose of incoming air as the back half. (Most intercoolers only seem to get dirty near the back, which is an indication of the usual air-flow).
Cost £25 originally, and was the best £25 I'd spent on car mods!
Motor felt smoother and pick up was ever so slightly improved.

AFAIK he has taken a break due to family affairs.
I'm going to try and make one myself, and with the help of this drawing it shouldn't be too hard
