You're on about the tool to remove them, not the original one, I know what you mean, but I don't know what it's called.
You could try a tyre place to get them off, they must get cars in where the owners don't give them the tool.

The one I told you about last night was called gator grip. I am not sure if they are still available but you used to be able to buy them. Try doing a search for it on google Failing that park your car somewhere dodgey (liverpool )

Best of luck with it

You wont get them off with a cheap gator grip..

Snap on sell a locking wheel nut removal tool... a chisel will also remove them..

Most people have stopped selling Gatorgrip as tea leafs were using them to nick alloys! If all else fails weld a length of round bar to the beggar and turn the bar with stilsons.

Just take off the "outer ring" of stainless steel, and then place a socket over the nut, and smack it on with a hammer - the nust are usually only mild steel, so will deform to fit in the socket -once this has been done, use wrench to remove nut/socket. No I am not a tea leaf, just overtightened some locking wheelnuts befor and they wouldn't come off using the "adapter"

I lost my wheel nut key, rang the manufactures and gave them the code, two days later 2 keys arrived in post F.O.C

Even tho you have the sanp on kit coming how about if you know the make and the code of the key usally on a piece of paper when you get the nuts, ring em up and see if they can help, Im sure the car shop will understand and it'll probably be cheaper than the kit
