Hi Guys,

First post on here so don't rib me too much. Currently got a tuned Seat Leon Cupra R (270 Bhp / 290 ft/lb) but have still never managed to get over my yearning to have an Impreza. What sort of figures does the STi 7 put out and what are the tuning options. Love the look of the Prodrive model. What sort of money should I look to pay for one of these if I go down that route

Standard STi7 produces 262 bhp and 253 lb ft torque. The PPP (Prodrive performance pack) keeps warranty intact and increases this to 300 bhp and 299 lb ft, I think.

Expect to pay around £19-22000.

D.

I used to be a Moderator in www.seatcupra.net and one member had his Leon Cupra R modded to produce 256bhp. It shagged the gearbox (mind my gearbox went phut with Std power), and the tuning company said it was undriveable with any more power. Interesting to see yours puts out more and has lived...

Cue Cupramax!

Cheers

I went from 7 years of Classic Turbos, to Leon Cupra, and back to Scooby in 9 months. I hated the Seat.

Erm Standard Revo SPS 3 with a few other small mods. Revo program through the serial port as opposed to chipping the car. The car has variable boost and ignition timing settings which I have optimised for Optimax fuel. The 20V's are notoriously torquey unlike a 16V but my car redlines at 6500 rpm. What does an STi redline at ? Torque on the Revo program is spiked near 4000 rpm and it does pull hard in every gear since Revo. Have easily done a 225 Bhp TT @ 125 Mph and pullled hard past him. He not a happy bunny !!! Would poss keep V. close to a PPP STi in a straight line rolling (DON'T GIVE ME TO MUCH GRIEF FOR SAYING THAT) but I want a Subaru for traction - Pulling away is a nightmare with FWD and really holds back the 0 - 60 where the Scooby is 4WD . Secondly the Scooby is superb round corners were the Cupra can be upset quite easily. Finally, I just love the look of the STi bodykit my girlfriend hates it but who cares I love it.

Is PPP a new EMU produced by Prodrivwe then ??

By the way thanks for all your repsonses

No, it's a tuning package that's been available for around 8 years. Depending on model, it goes something like:

New ECU, part Decat, new BB, high pressure hoses and new Turbo regulator.

Cheers
