For a "lost" forum - you effectively have a database, and as governed by data protection laws, this has to be kept current and accurate.

Who's going to update every post when cars and equipment is recovered?

What happens when a car (reported as stolen on here) is recovered, and not updated.... this car is then seen (with the original owner driving it) and some vigilante remembers reading a post and sets about the driver with a pickaxe handle?

okay - its a bit far fetched..... or is it?

Here on scoobynet we really need a forum now for stolen cars and stolen parts so that other scoobynet users can keep a look out for stolen gear. Stolen cars seem to be becoming a daily occurence on here at the moment

What do you think?

A good idea but maybe a lot of people wouldn't see them if they weren't in general. Not everyone would look there or is a vigilante(I am).

Thumbs up

I was going to say we should all start using magic water or Alpha Dot security to make tracking broken cars easier!
Seems like if enough people do it it could become pretty darn effective.

Can we advertise stolen goods on there??

Rob

Has been mentioned a few times before, might work.. might also be a very bad idea if someone posts false info and someone ends up getting hurt because of it..

ie. Mr X stole this from me...
